Traton Homes wins 7 OBIEs

After a successful 2011 working to give their customers “Altogether More,”
Traton Homes won altogether more at the OBIE Awards. The premiere Atlanta home builder won big, bringing home five gold and two silver awards. The gathering took place on November 12 at the Cobb Galleria and celebrated the best Atlanta has to offer in real estate.

Several Traton communities earned top awards. Wakefield Estates won a gold OBIE in the Single Family Builder Detached $350,000 to $424,999 category. Estates of Fernwood Creek won a gold OBIE in the Single Family Builder Detached $425,000 to $499,999 category, and Paper Chase Farms earned the silver OBIE in the same category.

Rockford Township’s designs were successful, too. The community won a gold OBIE for Best Interior Merchandising Detached model $299,999 and under and a silver OBIE for Best Building Design Detached model $299,999 and under.

Kimberly Garwood, Traton Homes’ Marketing Manager, had a fantastic year, and her work was deservingly recognized. Garwood was awarded a gold OBIE and was named Marketing Director of the Year. The Traton Homes Blog was named the Best E-Marketing and Best Interactive tool as well, something she worked on during 2011.
