Miller & Smith Companies seeks vendors for a new single-family home community near Richmond, Virginia.  Sadler Square, is a new 54-acre development in Glen Allen, Virginia, located in the Short Pump area. This is the development company’s first new home project in the area. When complete, the community will feature 128 single-family homes with front-load garages.

Construction will start in 2023, with homes available in 2024. To meet these deadlines, Miller & Smith Companies is seeking interested construction vendors. The Short Pump area of Glen Allen is one of the fastest-selling communities in Henrico County due to its proximity to Richmond, Virginia.

Short Pump was formed in 1853 at the intersection of Three Chopt Road, Richmond Turnpike and Pouncey Tract Road. The area is named after the short-handled pump located beneath the porch of the inn built by Robert Hyde Saunders, a Revolutionary War Colonel. Today the area is known for the Short Pump Town Center, an open-air shopping center, as well as other shopping, restaurants, a skating rink and a bowling alley.
